We’ve asked a few onebestway people and clients too what their favourite pieces of work have been from onebestway’s archive, dating all the way back to 2000.
Here’s what Mark T, Marketing Director of onebestway chose:
“One of the largest printing businesses in the North of England had a problem. Which is fine, we love it when clients come to us with problems!
Basically no one remembered their direct mail. Follow up phone calls were not winning business.
So when onebestway designed and developed a two-stage direct mail campaign based on a ‘chicken’ mailer followed by an ‘egg’ mailer then – well – the sales team had a very important question to ask when they telephoned the target.
As contrived and flippant as, ‘Which came first…’ is as a question – the business objective was achieved. The targets remembered the mailers, they found them funny and engaging and over 200 new orders were placed during the 3 month marketing activity.
The direct mail was underpinned with email stationery, mini websites and additional mailers too. A great example of clever marketing thinking aligned to clearly defined business objectives. It’s what onebestway do best.”
This campaign ended sadly. As this particular campaign came to an end, targets were sent a simple postcard depicting a cooked chicken and a boiled egg. Sniff…
